One Foreign Project Faculty Position Open (Assistant Professor or Above)

1. Position Title and Quota
   1. Position: One project foreign faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor (or above).
   2. Expected Appointment Date: August 1, 2026 (subject to completion of university administrative procedures)
2. Qualifications
   1. Academic Requirements:
      Doctoral degree in an engineering-related field from a domestic or international institution recognized by the Ministry of Education, with a preference for AI-related fields.
   2. Language Requirement:
      Ability to instruct in English, proficiency in English-medium instruction and international teaching experience are preferred.
   3. English Proficiency:
      CEFR B2 level or above required (C1 preferred)
3. Job Responsibilities
   1. Offer at least one English-taught course per semester.
   2. Supervise doctoral students, including research guidance, dissertation review, and guide academic publications.
   3. Promote international academic exchanges and collaboration, and conduct interdisciplinary joint research.
   4. Participate in curriculum development, syllabus planning, and provide academic/administrative services.
4. Required Documents and Materials
   1. Copy of Passport
   2. Copy of Ph.D. degree certificate
      1. Authenticated Chinese or English translations required for foreign degrees (domestic degrees exempt)
      2. Official transcripts required for doctoral degrees obtained within the past five years.
   3. Curriculum Vitae: including academic background, professional experience, research statement, and publications from the past five years.
   4. List of required courses and specialized courses you can instruct, along with course syllabi.
   5. Documentation of English teaching proficiency:
      1. Proof of CEFR B2 level or above (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
      2. Evidence of English teaching experience or relevant training.
   6. Two letters of recommendation (to be sent directly by the recommenders via mail or as PDF files to engineer@nchu.edu.tw )
   7. Other supporting materials relevant to the review process.
      •   Photocopies must be signed and marked “Conforms to the original.”
5. Application Method and Deadline
   1. Compile all application materials into one PDF file and email to engineer@nchu.edu.tw.

      Recommendation letters may be submitted separately.
