演講者簡介:

 

Prof. Walter Chung (The Hong Kong Polytechnic University)

Walter W. C. Chung is a mentor of the Extended Enterprise Research Institute in Hong Kong. He graduated in Industrial Engineering and received MBA from UNSW Australia. Walter was the first Programme Leader of MSc in Industrial Logisitcs Systems at The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He served as a Project Director of the Teaching Company Scheme for a number of years. He pioneered a non-traditional engineering approach in doing academic research with an impact on practice. A recipient of the HKPU President's Awards for Achievement 1996/97: Research & Scholarly Activities, he successfully supervised research students up to the PhD level and published near 200 research papers. He was successful in research grants (HK$7.1 millions) and is active in mentoring senior executives with business and industry.

Prof. Ivan Lai (The Macau University of Science and Technology)

Ivan K.W. Lai is an assistant professor and program coordinator in the Faculty of Management and Administration at the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). He is also adjunct research fellow at the University of South Australia (UniSA). He received his MBA degree (1992) from the University of Strathclyde and PhD degree (2003) in Business and Management from UniSA. He has over 20 years industrial experience in the logistics and supply chain management. He has successfully supervised eight DBA students and published over 50 research papers on the topics of IOS, ERP, SCM, and CRM. He was given the outstanding DBA supervisor award from UniSA in 2007 and the excellent teacher award from MUST in 2010. His current research focuses on extended enterprise, technology acceptance, green SC and action research in enterprise information systems.
