演講題目：Morphing and (generalized) averaging in arbitrary spaces
Abstract:
The concept of morphing and averaging can be extended from vector space
to arbitrary domains, either in an informal or a mathematical manner.
This talk will discuss a variety of such extensions in domains like
strings, graphs, and clusterings. These approaches are important tools
towards bridging the gap between statistical and structural pattern
recognition.
