Postdoctoral Opportunity for Infectious Disease Modeling Research in Taiwan

2-3 postdoctoral fellow positions for National Science Council (NSC - Taiwan) and Taiwan Center for Disease Control (TCDC) research grants on mathematical and statistic modeling of infectious diseases.

Background needed:  Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Epidemiology, or other related modeling/computation degree.

Salary: NT$55,000-75,000/month, plus 1.5 month bonus after working one full year, plane ticket reimbursement, health insurance coverage. (1 US$ ≈ 32 NT$)

Time: Starting July 2006 for one year with some flexibility and option to renew.

Location: Department of Applied Mathematics, National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan 402.  (Taichung is a city of 1 million in the central part of Taiwan, two hours away from Taipei.  For information see http://www.tccg.gov.tw/eng/index.htm)
