各位電子郵件使用者 您好:
為提升電子郵件系統安全性,本校教職員電子郵件系統將進行軟體系統升級,升級作業期間將暫停服務,造成不便,敬請見諒。
時間:
2025/05/07(三) 17:30 ~ 21:30
(服務恢復時間將視作業進度而定,並於學校首頁「最新消息」公告)
影響範圍:
教職員電子郵件(@dragon.nchu.edu.tw、@nchu.edu.tw) 將暫時停止收發信服務(POP3、IMAP、SMTP)及 WebMail 登入服務。
(服務暫停期間寄送至您信箱的郵件將暫存,信件不會遺失)
其他事項:
此次升級不影響使用功能,主要目的為提升系統安全性及修正已知問題,如下說明:
1. 安全性提升
提升系統的安全防護機制,對您個人帳號的更完善保護,並修正已知問題。
2. WebMail首頁更動
WebMail首頁採用更安全的架構重新設計,並且使電子郵件相關訊息更簡潔明瞭。
3. Webmail與興大單一入口密碼不再同步
新版上線後,您仍可透過單一入口代簽直接進入郵件系統。但因新版興大單一入口已不再支援密碼同步,電子郵件密碼與單一入口密碼將為兩組不同的密碼。若未經由單一入口使用電子郵件系統,請輸入電子郵件密碼登入。
Dear Email Users,
To enhance the security of our email system, the faculty and staff email service will undergo a software system upgrade. During this period, all related services will be temporarily suspended. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Scheduled Time:
May 7, 2025 (Wednesday) from 17:30 to 21:30
(Services may resume earlier depending on the progress of the upgrade. Updates will be posted on the university homepage.)
Scope of Impact:
Faculty and staff email services (@dragon.nchu.edu.tw, @nchu.edu.tw) will be temporarily suspended, including email sending/receiving services (POP3, IMAP, SMTP) and WebMail login access.
(Emails sent to your inbox during the downtime will be temporarily queued and safely delivered once services resume.)
Additional Notes:
This upgrade will not affect how the email system is used. The main purposes are to enhance system security and resolve known issues, detailed as follows:

- Enhanced Security
Improved system protection mechanisms to better safeguard your personal account and fix known issues. - Redesigned WebMail Homepage
The WebMail homepage will be rebuilt with a more secure architecture and display email-related information in a clearer and more streamlined format. - Email Password No Longer Synced with NCHU SSO
After the upgrade, you can still log in to the email system via the NCHU Single Sign-On (SSO) portal. However, since the new SSO no longer supports password synchronization, your email password and SSO password will become two separate credentials. If you do not use the SSO portal to access your email, please log in with your email password directly.
