國家重點領域國際合作聯盟 推動華語教育計畫
美國德州農工大學系統 徵件說明
壹、計畫目的與合作對象:為持續推動國家重點領域國際合作聯盟 (UAAT) 與美國德州農工大學系統 (TAMUS) 於華語教育領域之交流,由召集學校(國立中興大學)邀集 UAAT 成員校共同規劃華語教育推動項目。
貳、計畫期程:114年9月1日至115年8月31日止
參、計畫規定與徵件項目:依照「國家重點領域國際合作聯盟推動華語教育計畫徵件須知」(附件ㄧ)規劃,針對召集學校與 TAMUS 洽談之華語教育合作面向,邀請提案以下合作項目:
一、配合交流合作計畫提供華語教育:配合UAAT-TAMUS交流合作計畫,規劃相關華語教育合作項目,幫助赴臺灣交流之外國學生、教師研習華語及認識臺灣文化。可辦理項目與策略如下:
(一) 交流研習:
1. 辦理對臺灣推動華語教學交流具潛力主管或教師訪臺交流計畫,需有TAMUS不同成員校共同參加,成團人數須5至11人之間(TAMUS 共有11所成員校,https://www.tamus.edu/)。
2. 籌組國外大學系統教師及學生來臺短期華語文研習團。
(二) 課程教材開發:與國外大學系統教師合作開發華語課程及教材。
(三) 配合交流合作計畫之相關華語學習支持:
1. 於國外大學系統師生來臺灣進行交流、實習、短期課程、國際產學合作等活動前或交流期間,提供實體或線上專業華語學習課程、文化課程及辦理華語文能力測驗快篩。
2. 針對赴臺灣語言學習之大學系統學生、研究人員或教師辦理相關行前說明會及工作坊。
3. 提供華語學伴或輔導課程。
二、支持國外大學系統推動華語教育:配合國外當地需求提供有意來臺研習者相關支持,亦可協助開拓其他合作機會。可辦理項目與策略如下,規劃時建請納入推廣宣傳我國華語文相關獎學金、課程、及測驗等資訊:
(一) 華語師資與課程:
1. 選送華語教師赴國外學校任教。
2. 辦理華語教學培訓工作坊、研討會或師資培訓課程。
(二) 辦理臺灣文化體驗課程。
(三) 開發當地中小學或社區華語教學及研習需求,如辦理當地華語營隊或工作坊。
附註:可規劃派員赴TAMUS辦理華語教學相關課程或活動,補助人員以1名華語教師及1名同行人員為原則,同行人員須為聯盟校之校方人員,並協助宣傳我國華語文相關獎學金及課程等資訊。
肆、補助項目及基準:依照「國家重點領域國際合作聯盟推動華語教育計畫徵件須知」(附件ㄧ)所列規定辦理。
伍、申請方式:
一、以校為單位提案,於114年7月17日 (四) 前,將計畫申請書(格式如附件二)及相關文件電子檔寄至承辦人中興大學國際處Ms. Joy Lin信箱:joyclin@email.nchu.edu.tw。
UAAT Mandarin Education Promotion Program
Call for Proposals – Texas A&M University System (TAMUS)
I. Program Objectives and Partners:
To continuously advance collaboration between the University Alliance for Advancing the Targeted Fields (UAAT) and the Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) in the field of Mandarin education, the coordinating university, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), invites all UAAT member institutions to jointly plan Mandarin education initiatives.
II. Program Period:
From September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026.
III. Program Guidelines and Call for Proposals:
In accordance with the “Call for Proposals Guidelines for the UAAT Mandarin Education Promotion Program” (Attachment 1), we invite submissions focused on the areas of Mandarin education discussed between the coordinating university and TAMUS. The proposed collaboration projects may include the following:
1. Providing Mandarin Education in Support of Exchange and Cooperation Programs:
Plan relevant Mandarin education projects aligned with the UAAT-TAMUS exchange and cooperation programs to support international students and faculty visiting Taiwan in learning Mandarin and experiencing Taiwanese culture. Suggested activities and strategies include:
(1) Exchange and Study Programs:
Provide support for individuals interested in studying in Taiwan and help explore additional avenues for collaboration based on local demand. Suggested activities and strategies include the following. When planning, please include efforts to promote Taiwanese Mandarin-related scholarships, courses, and proficiency tests:
(1) Mandarin Teachers and Courses:
(3) Identify and Support Mandarin Education Needs in Local K-12 Schools or Communities:
IV. Funding and Eligibility:
All funding and support are subject to the provisions listed in the “Call for Proposals Guidelines for the UAAT Mandarin Education Promotion Program” (Attachment 1).
V. Application Process:
Proposals must be submitted by institution, and sent via email as electronic files (using the application format in Attachment 2) by Thursday, July 17, 2025, to the contact person at the Office of International Affairs, National Chung Hsing University: Ms. Joy Lin at joyclin@email.nchu.edu.tw.

- Organize exchange visits to Taiwan for faculty or administrators from TAMUS institutions who show strong potential for promoting Mandarin education. Each delegation must consist of 5 to 11 participants from different TAMUS member institutions (TAMUS includes 11 institutions, see: https://www.tamus.edu/).
- Organize short-term Mandarin language study tours in Taiwan for faculty and students from TAMUS institutions.
- Collaborate with TAMUS faculty to co-develop Mandarin courses and teaching materials.
- Provide in-person or online Mandarin language and cultural courses, as well as quick Mandarin proficiency screenings, before or during exchange, internship, short-term courses, or international academic-industry collaboration activities involving TAMUS faculty and students in Taiwan.
- Conduct pre-departure briefings and workshops for TAMUS students, researchers, or faculty members coming to Taiwan for language studies.
- Offer language partners or tutoring support services.
Provide support for individuals interested in studying in Taiwan and help explore additional avenues for collaboration based on local demand. Suggested activities and strategies include the following. When planning, please include efforts to promote Taiwanese Mandarin-related scholarships, courses, and proficiency tests:
(1) Mandarin Teachers and Courses:
- Send qualified Mandarin instructors to teach at TAMUS institutions.
- Organize training workshops, seminars, or teacher training courses in Mandarin instruction.
(3) Identify and Support Mandarin Education Needs in Local K-12 Schools or Communities:
- Host local Mandarin camps or workshops.
IV. Funding and Eligibility:
