【重要公告】Gmail 功能異動公告：Gmailify 與 POP 將於 2026 年 1 月終止支援

各位電子郵件使用者 您好：

根據 Google 官方發布政策，自 2026 年 1 月起，Gmail 將停止支援部分第三方電子郵件的連結功能。(官方文件說明)
若您目前習慣在個人 Gmail 中收發「校內信箱（@dragon.nchu.edu.tw,@nchu.edu.tw,@mail.nchu.edu.tw）」，請留意以下異動：

【將受到影響的功能】

1. Gmailify無法使用： 未來將無法透過 Gmail 介面管理第三方帳戶（如校內信箱）的垃圾郵件阻擋或收件匣分類功能。
2. 不再接受外部郵件以POP 方式收信： 系統將不再支援透過 POP 協定將外部帳戶的電子郵件擷取至 Gmail 帳戶。

【檢查您是否受此異動影響】

1. 檢查設定： 請進入 Gmail 網頁版「設定」>「帳戶和匯入」，檢查「檢查其他帳戶的郵件」區塊。此功能失效後，原本已收到的信件仍會保留，但將無法再接收新信。

Dear Email users,

According to the latest security policy released by Google, starting January 2026, Gmail will discontinue support for certain features related to linking third-party email accounts. (Official document)

If you currently manage your NCHU email (@dragon.nchu.edu.tw,@nchu.edu.tw,@mail.nchu.edu.tw) via a personal Gmail account, please take note of the following changes:
 

【Functions to be affected】

1. Discontinuation of Gmailify: You will no longer be able to manage third-party accounts (such as your University email) using Gmail features like spam protection or inbox organization.
2. They will no longer accept external emails via POP: The system will no longer support retrieving emails from external accounts into Gmail via the POP protocol.

【Check if you are affected by this change.】

1. Check Your Settings: Please go to Gmail web version "Settings" > "Accounts and Import" and review the "Check mail from other accounts" section. Once this feature is disabled, previously received emails will remain in your inbox, but you will no longer receive new incoming messages through this connection.
