NCHU "AwardAcademic Research Incentives" has been announced and is now accepting applications (as notified in Letter No. 1150801364 dated April 30, 2026)
2.自即日起至5/29下午5時止，若未依期限內提出申請，視同放棄。
From now until 5:00 p.m. on May 29, if you fail to submit your application within the deadline, it will be deemed as a waiver.

| 受理申請115年度學術研究績效獎勵 | National Chung Hsing University Regulations for Academic Research Incentives |
1.申請對象: 本校專任（含專案）、兼任、合聘、客座教師及研究人員（含博士後研究人員），並須符合最近一學年基本授課時數及在職規定。 |
1. Eligible Applicants: Eligible applicants include full-time (including project), part-time, co- appointed, and visiting faculty members, as well as research personnel (including postdoctoral researchers) of the University. Applicants must also meet the minimum teaching load and employment requirements for the most recent academic year. |
| 2.獎勵學術研究成果，包括以下八大類別: (1)一般期刊論文(含SCIE、SSCI、A&HCI期刊及SCOPUS資料庫TOP 10%期刊)。 (2)人文社會科學領域優良期刊論文、專書論文。 (3)學術專書(不含教科書及編譯著作)。 (4)論文總量:指前一年度發表論文之總篇數。 (5)校外合作論文。 (6)論文引用表現(含HiCi論文、H-index論文、單篇論文前五年被引用次數之表現、FWCI指數):由研發處學術發展組進行彙整統計。 (7)個人研究進步獎。 (8)指導國科會大專學生研究計畫獲研究創作獎。 前揭第(1)至(5)項，係以本校為所屬學術機構，並於前一年度(114年1月1日至12月31日)正式出版卷期之研究績效為限；其餘(6)至(8)之獎勵區間，依相關規定辦理。 |
2. Reward range and categories: Academic research achievements eligible for awards include the following eight categories: (1)Papers in regular journals.(including journals indexed in SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI, and the top 10% of journals in the SCOPUS database).(2)Papers in outstanding humanities and social sciences journals and book chapters. (3)Monographs (excluding textbooks and edited or translated works). (4)Total number of publication: refers to the total number of papers published in the previous year. (5)Papers produced in collaboration with non-University individuals. (6)Citation performance (including HiCi papers, H-index papers, citation counts within the first five years of a single paper, and the FWCI index), compiled and analyzed by the Division of Academic Development, Office of Research and Development. (7)Awards for Personal Development in Research (8)Guiding students to win the National Science and Technology Council’s College Student Research Creativity Award Items (1) through (5) above are limited to research outputs affiliated with this university as the academic institution and formally published (assigned to a volume/issue) within the previous year (January 1 to December 31, 2025). The award periods for items (6) through (8) shall be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations. |
| 3-1. 專任教師及博士後研究員申請說明: (1)請於5月29日下午5時前於學術研發服務網完成線上申請，無須列印申請表及核章。若未依期限內提出申請，視同放棄。 (2)原則免附佐證文件，惟「人文社會科學領域優良期刊論文」、「專書論文」、「學術專書」等類別須檢附相關文件，(博士後研究人員另須檢附聘函影本或電子檔)。 (3)已出版論文尚未收錄於Web of Science 資料庫者，應另填送申請表並檢附論文影本，以供查驗。 3-2兼任、合聘、客座教授申請說明: 將申請表、論文電子檔及效期聘書等資料email至所屬單位彙整後再送研發處，請申請單位於5月29日前以紙本併同email至研發處學術發展組楊小姐(Email:liyingyang@nchu.edu.tw)。 3-3擬申請學術專書獎勵者，除線上申請外，另須檢附相關資料送所屬學院外審及院教評審查 (1)專書3本 (2)專書獎勵初審申請表 (3)二份以上出版(發行)單位審查意見書 (4)專書貢獻比例證明書( |
3-1 Application Instructions for Full-time Faculty and Postdoctoral Researchers (1) Applications must be submitted online via the Academic R&D Service System by 5:00 PM on May 29, 2026. No printed forms or approvals are required. Late submissions will be regarded as a waiver. (2) Supporting documents are generally not required, except for specified categories. If data is not retrievable, applicants will be contacted to provide additional materials. (3) For works not yet indexed in WOS, download the application form and submit supporting documents in hard copy. (4) Postdoctoral researchers must also attach a copy or electronic file of their appointment letter. 3-2. Application Guidelines for Part-time, Joint Appointment, and Visiting Professors: Please email the application form, electronic copies of the papers, and proof of valid appointment to your affiliated department for consolidation. The department should then forward the compiled documents to Ms. Liying Yang at the Academic Development Division, Office of R&D (Email: liyingyang@nchu.edu.tw) by May 29. 3-3. Applicants for the Monographs Reward must, in addition to the online application, submit the relevant materials for external review by their affiliated college."
