Faculty Position in Geotechnical Engineering at NCHU, Taiwan

The Department of Civil Engineering at National Chung-Hsing University invites applications for a possible tenure-track faculty position in geotechnical engineering at the level of assistant professor (or above). The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses (especially Engineering Geology) and graduate courses, develop strong research programs, supervise graduate students, and be involved in service to the university and the profession.
The applicant must have an earned Ph.D. degree related to geotechnical engineering.
The following application package must be received by the Department by July 7, 2025 for consideration.
 
The application package should include:
 1. a detailed curriculum vitae,
 2. an autobiography with statement of career goal,
 3. copies of the Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. diploma,
 4. abstract of Ph.D. dissertation,
 5. a list of publications (published after 2019/2/1),
 6. one representative SCI paper (published after 2021/2/1) and copies of the major publications in the past 7 years (published after 2019/2/1)
 7. recommendation letters (up to 3 letters),
 8. supplemental information (e.g. project, research plan, special honor …etc.).
