To enhance international students’ understanding of Taiwan’s corporate environment and biotechnology industry, the Office of International Affairs at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) organized the “Program for International Students Seeking Employment in Taiwan – Enterprise Visit to CH Biotech R&D Co., LTD.” on Tuesday, April 22th, 2025. The event attracted 17 students from National Chung Hsing University, National Changhua University of Education (NCUE), and National Formosa University (NFU), hailing from Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Malaysia , and other countries. The event met with great success.

CH Biotech has maintained a Long-Term partnership with NCHU, contributing to the establishment of the “Academy of Circular Economy of NCHU” and collaborating on research and technology exchange. During the visit, students were guided by professional researchers through the Agricultural Product Development Center and the Coffee Research Center. The researchers provided in-depth explanations on product development processes, technological applications, and market trends, helping students gain a comprehensive understanding of how CH Biotech applies biotechnology in the agricultural sector and promotes industrial upgrading. The visit offered students a close-up view of business operations and allowed them to experience the company culture and workplace environment.

Moreover, through face-to-face interaction with company representatives, students had the opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives, and engage in cross-cultural exchanges. This interaction enhanced their intercultural communication skills and fostered stronger connections with the industry, providing valuable experience for future internships and employment.

In recent years, NCHU has been actively promoting diverse employment services and support mechanisms for overseas Chinese and international students to help them successfully integrate into Taiwan’s workforce after graduation. NCHU also leverages alumni networks and industry partnerships to create a supportive learning and development environment. This year, NCHU received funding from the Ministry of Education under the “Program for International Students Seeking Employment in Taiwan”. The goal is to help more talented international students find their career paths in Taiwan and foster positive interactions between higher education institutions and industry. This event not only broadened the students’ career perspectives but also deepened their understanding of the Taiwanese job market, helping them uncover their potential, develop interdisciplinary expertise, and lay a solid foundation for pursuing their careers in Taiwan.
