The prestigious international ranking organization QS has released its 2025 World University Rankings by Subject. In the field of Mechanical, Aeronautical, and Manufacturing Engineering, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) has made a significant leap, ranking in the 251–300 band globally. This puts NCHU ahead of other major Taiwanese institutions such as National Sun Yat-sen University and National Central University, securing the top spot among the “Four Zhong” universities (NCHU, NSYSU, NCU, and National Chung Cheng University) and sixth in Taiwan overall. As a leading academic hub for mechanical engineering in Taiwan, NCHU’s strength in this field has been widely recognized.
