The College of Management’s EMBA Student Association and Alumni Association at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) hosted a lively “Family Day” event on July 12 at the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium. Centered around the theme “NCHU Family, One Big Family,” the event welcomed alumni, faculty, and current students, drawing nearly 200 enthusiastic participants and creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

The event was jointly organized by EMBA Alumni Association Chairman Mr. Tze-Hui Lin, board member Ms. Hsiu-Hui Yang, Honorary Chairman Mr. Yi-Hua Wang, and Student Association Chairman Mr. Che-Hung Wan. Combining a professional baseball game, social networking, and corporate sponsorships, the gathering strengthened bonds within the Central Taiwan EMBA community and showcased the program’s dynamic and diverse spirit.

This year’s Family Day featured a Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) regular season game between the Wei Chuan Dragons and the CTBC Brothers. Embracing the summer vibe, organizers also arranged a “Summer Water Fest” and partnered with the party brand “Mandarin Workbook” to create a nostalgic Mandarin pop KTV atmosphere, keeping the energy high throughout the night. Many alumni shared that large-scale gatherings like this are rare opportunities to relive their student memories and deepen connections and mutual support within the EMBA network.

Professor Ying-Jiun Hsieh, Dean of the College of Management, attended to show his support, remarking, “The NCHU EMBA is not just a place for learning—it is a caring, supportive family. Events like this Family Day remind us of the warmth and strong bonds that define our college community.”

EMBA Student Association President Che-Hung Wan added, “This Family Day was not only about alumni and students networking but also about encouraging family participation through sports and parent-child activities, further highlighting the strength of the EMBA network.”

The event was generously supported by Vice Chairman of the Alumni Association Mr. Mu-Jung Yang, who sponsored handheld fans for all attendees, Mr. Fu-Chun Chien, General Manager of Ji Shi Xian, who donated NT$30,000, and Ms. Yun-Hsuan Fang, President of the EMBA Wine Club, who provided beer and beverages to create a cheerful game-watching experience.

Many alumni attended with their families to cheer on the baseball game and expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by current students. The gathering was a vivid display of the NCHU community’s solidarity and mutual support.

In recent years, the NCHU EMBA has focused on strengthening ties between the Student Association and alumni. This successful Family Day embodied the program’s long-held commitment to its core values of learning, friendship, and family, setting the stage for more community events in the coming months.
