Department of Chemical Engineering, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan, has two openings for positions starting from August 1st, 2026 at the rank of an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
The university offers flexible salary incentives to newly appointed faculty members as part of its commitment to attracting and supporting outstanding scholars. Moreover, the department recommends newly appointed faculty members to apply for the Yushan Fellow Program. We seek the best candidates who need to meet the following qualifications:
1. A Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering or a related field from a domestic or international institution is required. Applicants with backgrounds in catalysis and reaction engineering, advanced materials and precision processing, biochemical and biomedical engineering, polymer and nanomaterials, circular economy, energy materials, or other emerging related research fields are preferred.
2. The candidate should be able to align with the department's curriculum planning and be capable of teaching core undergraduate courses (such as chemical engineering process design, process control, or chemical reaction engineering), and must offer at least one English-taught course per academic year.
Short-listed candidates will be invited to attend in-person interviews in Taiwan.
