Faculty Position in the Department of Civil Engineering at NCHU, Taiwan
  • The Department of Civil Engineering at National Chung Hsing University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Hydraulic Engineering Division at the level of assistant professor (or above). The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English, develop strong research programs, supervise graduate students, and contribute to service activities within the university and the profession.
  • The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in the field of hydraulic or ocean engineering.
  • The following application package must be received in email by the Department by November 30, 2025 for consideration.
  • The application package should include:
  1. A detailed curriculum vitae.
  2. Autobiography, a statement of research and teaching plans.
  3. Photocopies of the Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. diplomas.
  4. An abstract and conclusion of the Ph.D. dissertation.
  5. A list of publications (Please denote which publications are indexed in SCIE/SSCI/JCR).
  6. Copies of representative and supporting publications (Representative publication should be published after August 2021, and supporting publications should be published after August 2019).
  7. Supplemental information (e.g., projects, research plans, and special honors).
  8. Three letters of recommendation
