National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) has ranked 10th nationwide in the latest “2026 University Brand Power” survey released by 104 Job Bank, climbing three places from last year. The university also received the Regional Leadership Award, ranking No. 1 among general universities in Central Taiwan, underscoring steady growth in brand influence and public trust.

NCHU continues to demonstrate strong performance in key indicators of core strength. It ranked 4th nationwide in academic reputation and 5th in research and development capability, highlighting the long-term of its sustained investment in scientific research and industry–academia talent cultivation.

In areas most valued by employers—particularly the alignment between academic learning and workplace application—NCHU also posted outstanding results. According to employer surveys conducted by 104 Job Bank on discipline-based employability, the Bio-Resources discipline group ranked 2nd nationwide, while the Finance and Economics, Earth and Environmental Sciences, and Life Sciences discipline groups all placed 5th nationwide.

In terms of discipline-based salary competitiveness, 104 analyzed data from 256,000 job-seeking members, focusing on the first full-time monthly salaries of NCHU alumni whose highest degree was a bachelor’s degree between 2021 and 2025. Results show strong early-career salary performance among NCHU graduates: the Earth and Environmental Sciences discipline group ranked 1st nationwide, the Bio-Resources group 2nd, the Law and Political Science group 2nd, and the Foreign Languages group 4th, demonstrating NCHU’s dual strengths in employability and compensation outcomes.

NCHU noted that rankings are not only an affirmation but also a responsibility. In response to rapid industrial transformation, the University has been advancing curriculum innovation through real-world scenarios and practice-oriented learning, while deepening industry–academia collaboration and off-campus internship mechanisms. These initiatives enable students to develop transferable workplace competencies before graduation. Centered on interdisciplinary learning and talent development aligned with individual aptitudes, NCHU integrates its strengths in agriculture and environmental sustainability, emerging technologies such as smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence, and collaborative networks in medicine and health, continually enhancing its research momentum and societal impact.

This marks the third consecutive year that 104 Job Bank has released the University Brand Power rankings. The 2026 survey evaluated 123 universities nationwide using 105 indicators across 12 dimensions, drawing on 4.18 million data records from 104’s big data platform, thousands of employer HR surveys, publicly available data submitted by universities to the Ministry of Education, and international ranking sources, including the QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education World University Rankings, and the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR).
