NCHU Signed a Cooperation Memorandum with Metal Industries Research & Development Center to Establish Smart Manufacturing and Metal Technology Strategic Alliance

National Chung Hsing University and Metal Industries Research & Development Center held a signing ceremony of the cooperation memorandum on November 16. The memorandum was signed by Jyh-Horng Chou, Vice President of National Chung Hsing University and Chiu-Feng Lin, CEO of Metal Industries Research & Development Center. The two parties will jointly establish the "Smart Manufacturing and Metal Technology Strategic Alliance" to commit to the foresighted research on the smart machinery, manufacturing technology and metal technology. A research team was formed, and the funds were jointly invested. For the forward-looking topics, combined with the research energy, joint efforts are made to build a research and development platform, provide the localized smart manufacturing strategies, and cultivate the cross-field elite talents as a strong backing for "Made in Taiwan."

As the only top research university in the central region, National Chung Hsing University enjoys a reputation for cultivating the intelligent machinery and intelligent manufacturing talents. Metal Industries Research & Development Center has guided the upgrading of the domestic metals and related manufacturing industries for many years, and is one of the few domestic legal entities of the research and development that can provide the system integration solution service. It is hoped that this cooperation can promote the industrial transformation and achieve the greatest benefit of the industry-university-research linkage.
