The Office of International Affairs, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), held the "Taiwan Circulation Loop Arts & Culture Awards Exhibition" from December 1st to 7th, 2022, in Shen Ji New Village. The Exhibition features works created by international students from the National University System of Taiwan (NUST). The seven-day event was successfully held and attracted a total of 1,250 visitors.

Eleven universities in Central Taiwan have jointly established the National University System of Taiwan (NUST). The members include National Chung Hsing University, National United University, National Taichung University of Education, National Taiwan University of Sport, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, National Changhua University of Education, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, National Formosa University, National Chi Nan University, National Chiayi University, and National University of Kaohsiung. To provide local students with more international experiences and encourage international students to get involved with the land, the international working group of NUST proposes the "NUST Project of Circulation," which is coordinated by the Office of International Affairs of NCHU. The "Taiwan Circulation Loop Arts & Culture Awards" is organized with the core value of "cultural exchange and introducing Taiwan. " and the theme this year is "The Beauty of Taiwan's Traditional Arts." The contest's works take various forms—Photography, Short Video, and Postcard Design. NUST International students are invited to show their thoughts and ideas about Taiwan through different forms and share the background story of their works.

Walking into the exhibition hall of Shen Ji New Village, the first thing that catches people's eyes is the photography exhibition area. From the solemn temple carvings to the nostalgic rising sky lanterns, the rich and colorful works create a striking visual display. Around the corner is the short film exhibition area. The video's ingenious arrangement and rich visual and soundtrack effects bring viewers into the world of traditional Taiwanese art. Inside the postcard exhibition area, visitors can hunt for postcard works created in various forms. This year's postcards are provided on-site so visitors can take the postcards home and dive deep into the world of the creations.

In addition, the Exhibition also exhibits a collection of photos of international student activities from NUST. The rich and splendid photo wall attracts visitors to stop and look. Interactive elements included the "Water Writing Cloth area" for guests to experience Calligraphy and the "Message Wall area" for visitors to leave their messages. Visitors can also join the "NUST Gacha Activity." Allowing participants to experience the beauty of Taiwan's traditional arts from the perspective of international students and gain a better understanding of NUST.

"Taiwan Circulation Loop Arts & Culture Awards" aims to encourage international students to explore the beauty of Taiwan and to have more connections with the land. At the same time, it is hoped that the Exhibition can let visitors view Taiwan from a new perspective through the eyes of international students in Taiwan.
