In July 2024, the College of Management at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) successfully passed the continuous accreditation process of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This accreditation recognizes NCHU's excellence in business management education, aligning the college with the world's top business schools and significantly benefiting the university's internationalization and enhancement of teaching and research quality.
The AACSB accreditation process is rigorous and conducted entirely in English. After years of effort by the entire faculty and staff, NCHU's College of Management met the latest AACSB 2020 evaluation standards. This achievement demonstrates the college's commitment and accomplishments in teaching, research, and internationalization.

Dean Hsieh Ying-Jiun of the College of Management noted that AACSB's accreditation standards place a high emphasis on continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence, requiring the college to consistently fulfill its mission and maintain faculty qualifications and learning quality. NCHU's attainment of this accreditation highlights the school's exceptional performance in educational quality and learning resources. Looking ahead, the college will continue to enhance the learning and research environment, focusing on academic innovation, teaching improvement, and industry-academia collaboration.

During the accreditation visit, Chair of the Continuous Improvement Review Committee, Dean Tootoonchi, expressed admiration for the college's outstanding performance. Notably, five faculty members were listed among the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University, a significant honor. Interdisciplinary faculty and student teams created a virtual exhibit space for dementia patients, making a substantial social impact. The Rock-Solid Industry-Academia Research Center promotes academic and industry collaboration, bridging theory and practice. Additionally, the "Hello! Talent" English lecture series provides faculty and students with diverse international perspectives and promotes the concept of environmental sustainability through the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

NCHU's College of Management first received AACSB international accreditation in 2019 and has since been dedicated to continuous improvement in learning quality assurance, curriculum innovation, industry impact, and connections with the academic, governmental, and industrial sectors. This year's reaccreditation signifies renewed international recognition of the college's teaching quality, financial and faculty structure, and research environment. It will further facilitate exchanges with international sister schools, dual degree programs, student exchanges, and credit transfers, thereby broadening students' global perspectives.

Founded in 1916, AACSB is committed to advancing the quality of business education worldwide. It is the longest-standing and most prestigious global accrediting body for business schools, renowned for its academic integrity. Currently, over 1,000 business schools in more than 80 countries have obtained AACSB accreditation.
