NPD Project Engineer

工作內容

Main Responsibilities:

◦ Based in Taiwan

◦ In this role you will work as part of our NPD team to design, analyze, and build new tooling, ensuring the effective implementation of new product designs.

◦ Plan and develop product specification for NPD projects in order that they meet immediate and potential customer requirements.

◦ Have clear communication and interaction with development and marketing teams to create innovative and viable technical solutions.

◦ Provide technical support and advise to ICS Account Managers and clients where necessary.

◦ Within the scope of project engineering, control the project to meet the agreed timings and project goals.

◦ Develop an understanding of the product market applications, product requirements and specifications necessary for successful product introduction.

◦ Ensure the project specifications and technical goals are met or exceeded.

◦ Provide the technical leadership, direction and support to project team: design analysis, test development, process development, quality and verification and prototype production.

◦ Lead tool validation.

◦ Develop engineering proposals & specifications for client submission.

◦ Lead the technical project by monitoring all technical aspects of the project, analyze results and taking/suggesting appropriate actions so that agreed project goals are met.

◦ Complete technical reports, including product analysis and validation reports.

Requirements:

◦ Engineering degree in Plastics or Mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline

◦ 2 years related working experience preferable.

◦ Good knowledge of plastic injection, blow molding, injection blow molding and finishes for product development and manufacturing

◦ Proficient with reading and interpreting 2D drawings, creating and manipulating 3D CAD data, preferred experience with SolidWorks

◦ Organized, detailed-oriented, mature and responsible

◦ Highly committed to work and able to work under pressure

◦ Good command of English and able to communicate in Mandarin
